Course objectives
To acquaint students with the emergence and development of the concept of Francophonie and the creation and operation of the International Organization of Francophonie (OIF). Attention will be devoted to development of francophone institutions in the Czech Lands (Alliances fr. and others), and the Czech Republic's position in the International Francophony Organization. Students will learn different options of francophone teaching in the Czech Republic and abroad.

  • Lecture: 1 Organisation internationale de la Francophonie - instead of the Czech Republic in the International Organization of la Francophonie . 2nd development of teaching French to Czech schools and francophone education in the Czech lands. Third current education policy in the field of language teaching in the Czech Republic compared with some European countries. 4th teaching of French in the present czech school system . 5th Czech-French bilingual section at secondary schools in the Czech Republic. 6th Czech section of the French lyceum.

Final oral exam, participation on questionnary research, oral presentation. Condition for admission to the examination is active participation in seminars (80%).
