Course objectives
The course introduces students to czech postmodern literature of the Nineteen Seventiest and the Eighties and the Nineties.
After finishing the course the students will know vhat´s what in the postmodernism and students will be able to call the leading subjects, motives and authors.
After finishing this course students:
- understand and explain literary development in the broader cultural and social context;
- recognize and work with information on literary movements and tendencies and significant personalities that formed this development;
- are familiar with assessment of postmodern literature;
- are able to apply their knowledge to particular literary texts.

Assessment methods
The seminar combines home preparation with critical reading of texts which are crucial for the course topic. In order to be given the credit the students have to pass an oral interview about the topic of the seminar.
