Course objectives
The aim of the course is to use the acquired knowledge of the Classical Greek normative grammar while reading the Ancient Greek text which is prescribed to translation. The student is obligated to read at least one Gospel according to his own choice. At the end of this course, students will be able to make a grammatical analysis, a translation and an interpretation of the New Testament on a high level.

Teaching methods
The course is not being taught in the standart form; during individual consultations the student solves the actual problems and answers questions concerning the text, which is prescribed to translation.
Assessment methods
The course ends with an oral exam. In order to be awarded credits, students have to demonstrate the ability of correct interpretation and translation of a selected part of the text.
