- Course objectives
- My goal is to investigate the grammar of temporal and spatial expressions. The prominent means of encoding such meanings in Czech are prepositons. Hence, we devote a lot of attention to the grammar of prepositional phrases.

- 1. Figure/Ground 2. spatial adpositions and their classes 3. measure phrases 4. temporal prepositions 5. measure phrases as prepositional cpmplements 6. adverbs 7. P-drop

- The requirement is tocome to classes plus something. That something can bge either a short presentation, or a 5 page term paper.
