Course objectives
Principles of comparative linguistics. Sketch of phonemic and morphemic systems of Indo-European languages.
Syllabus
  • Methods of Indoeuropean linguistics - comparative method of discovering of common origin of Indo-european languages(Bopp, Schleicher, neogramarians, structuralims) - reconstruction of phonemic system of IE - reconstruction of morphemic system of IE
