Course objectives (in Czech)

Účelem exkurze je překročit akademickou práci s prameny, zejména jejich kopiemi, a osahat si autentickou archeologickou evidenci v praxi. Studenti se seznámí s artefakty z antiky a starověkého Egypta a budou sledovat jejich proměnu v obodbí helénistickém.
Studenti se podívají také na místa, kam došli římští legionáři a získají znalosti o tom, jak vypadal jejich každodenní život a jaké kulty uctívali.

Syllabus (in Czech)

• 1. Návštěva Uměleckohistorického muzea ve Vídni - prohlídka antických a egyptských sbírek.
• 2. Návštěva Papyrologyckého muzea ve Vídni.
• 3. Exkurze do archeologického parku v Petronell-Carnuntum, kde se nachází pozůstatky římského legionářského tábora, archeologický park a muzea s tematicky souvisejícími exponáty.
