Course objectives
- introduce students to current trends in research in avant-garde theatre
- introduce students to avant-garde theatre history in Europe.
Learning outcomes
- students get general knowledge about actual trends in studies of avant-garde theatre
- students are able to critically asses academic presentations in English
Syllabus
  • Students take part in conference Czech Historical Avant-Garde in the European Context (Brno Theatralia Conference 2021), which takes place JUNE 1ST – 3RD 2021.

Assessment methods
Students take part in at least two conference days and provide critical evaluation of key issues, problems and methodology in paper in English (min. 5400 signs).
