- Course objectives
- The goal of the course is to enable students to:
understand and explain the research fields of philosohy;
work with information on the key concepts in each field;
make reasoned judgments about key philosophical issues;
understand the subject matter of metaphysics, epistemology, philosophy of mind, philosophy of language, philosophy of science and ethics. - Learning outcomes

- Assigned readings, quizzes, MS Teams discussion sessions.
- Assessment methods
- Weekly quizzes, completion compulsory, tolerated will be two uncompleted quizzes. Further, at least 60 percent of all points in quizzes must be reached. Students who do not meet the above requirements are not eligible for the final test. The final test will be online, open questions, pass limit 60 percent.

The course will be based on assigned readings and supplementary materials in the e-learning platform of Masaryk University (ELF). The course can be accessed here: https://elf.phil.muni.cz/20-21/course/view.php?id=247 Every week a set of study materials will be assigned. Following week an online quiz will be prepared to map students' understanding of the subject matter. The quizzes are compulsory. Tolerated will be two uncompleted quizzes. The students must reach a minimum of 60 percent of all points in the quizzes to be eligible for the final test. Every other week there will be an online meeting in MS Teams. Students will always be invited via a link. The meetings are not compulsory. They will be devoted to students' questions, problems and discussion over the subject matter. They will take place in the scheduled time. The final test will be online and it will consist of open questions. To pass, at least 60 percent of all points must be reached.
