Prerequisites
In order to successfully pass the course, a high level of grammatical and stylistic knowledge of the Czech language, a good orientation in the history of Brno and in working with archival sources and literature are required.

Course objectives
At the end of the course student should be able to:
Understand of making items in encyclopaedia
Make item ih encyclopeadia
Understand of system of sources for encyclopaedia items
Interpret sources for encyclopaedia
Analyse of information in sources and literature for items
Learning outcomes
Student competences after completion of the course: • - ability to elaborate by oneself a related group of encyclopaedic entries • - ability to establish relevant links between encyclopaedic entries at a contentual, chronological and topographic level • - ability to lead a thematically specialised micro work team within the author collective of the encyclopaedia
