Course objectives
The aim of the course is:
extend the knowledge of phraseology
understand and explain the function of phraseology in texts types: usual communication, masmedia, literature, advertising
interpret the texts from the phraseological point of view
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course students should be able to:
understand and explain the function of phraseological units in various text types
interpret the texts from the phraseological point of view

  • Course Contents:
  • Paradigmatic relations of phraseological units and idioms
  • Variations and modifications of phraseological units
  • Phraseology units and idioms in texts of the usuelly communication, mass media, advertisind, literature
  • analysis of texts with phaseological units
