  • Systematický a přehledný výklad o gotickém maířství a sochařství od poloviny 12. do počátku 16.století s přihlédnutím k vývoji v Čechách a na Moravě a s exkursem o byzantském umění. Vyvážená pozornost se věnuje formálnímu vývoji, funkci uměleckých děl, ikonografii a souvislostem s dobovou filosofií, teologií a zbožností. Doplněno exkurzemi v Praze. První část: do poloviny 14.století.
