Course objectives
This lecture will offer present ideas, possibilities and limitations of the comparative ethics to the students. Some basic points of view of the comparative ethics will be shown, as well as its main exponents and critics.
Syllabus
  • - the field of the comparative ethics - the metodology of the comparative ethics - present ideas of the comparative ethics - potencies and limits of intracultural and intercultural comparison (the moral in Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism) - the types and levels of classifications and comparisons - ethic invariants and izomophs - the ethics and the theology - the ethics in the times of the monotheic mobilization and theological and political fights - contemporary approaches of the comparative ethics
