Course objectives
The aim of the course is to explain and iluminate the validity of essential terms and strategies of the theory of fictional worlds (which is based on logical semantics of possible worlds) through particular analyses of particular texts of Czech literature.
Syllabus
  • The students are supposed to present their own analyses of particulat works of Czech literature using the terminology and devices offered by narrative semantics of fictional worlds embodied by in work of Lubomir Doležel.
