- Course objectives
- Students will orientate themselves in basic philosophical literature and in basic philosophical concepts and problems. They will be able to interpret primary philosophical literature and to explain basic philosophical problems in the history of philosophy and in contemporary philosophy.
- Syllabus
- Subject of philosophy, elements of work with philosophical literature, basic philosophical notions, subject of main philosophical disciplines, philosophy and myth, philosophy and science, philosophy and religion, main types of European rationality. 1. What is philosophy - structure of philosophy, philosophical disciplines - relation between philosophy and myth, philosophy and science, philosophy and ideology 2. Ontology, basic problems - subject of ontology - categories of ontology - ontological systems 3. Epistemology - problem of intelligibility - rationalism a empirism - problem of truth - language and knowledge
