Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able to:;
orient in secondary literatury and edit approaches to writing of Jakub Deml;
orient in wide Deml´s work and biography;
characterize most important spheres of Deml´s work (books of Hrad smrti period,unit of Šlépěje, books of Mohyla and Zapomenuté světlo period);
range Deml´s solitery writing to the wider context of Czech literature of 1st half of 20th century.
Syllabus
  • Orientation in secondary literatury and edit approaches to writing of Jakub Deml;
  • orientation in wide Deml´s work and biography;
  • characterization of most important spheres of Deml´s work (books of Hrad smrti period,unit of Šlépěje, books of Mohyla and Zapomenuté světlo period);
  • Submission of Deml´s solitery writing to the wider context of Czech literature of 1st half of 20th century.
