Course objectives
The aim of the course is the introduction to the history of the historiography, from the ancient historiography to the postmodern era - in political, social and cultural contexts. The course also focuses on the basic process of historiographical concepts and terms and topics illustrating Czech and European development. Students will be able to understand basic trends of the history of historiography. They will be able to interpret new concepts and issues related to the topics.
