Course objectives
At the end of the course students should know about characteristics of press texts, should be able to recognize them. They should know how to research these texttypes, to analyse media and texts and use these knowledge in their own production of texts. They should also follow the news in Austria.

  • introduction into journalism texttypes in media: report, comment, interview ... media: analysis, audience, content 3 steps: textanalysis, editing, transformation, production
