- Course objectives
- The aim of this is course is to acquaint students with basic issues of aesthetics and categories as well as provide orientation in the labyrinth of different approaches to art as they were generated by the philosophical and aesthetic reflection of art. The course offers also actual forms of solution of the basic issues of philosophy, aesthetics and theory of art after their intentional separation from the beauty as well as after resignation of artists to the craftsmanship and production of sensually attractive pieces of art. Based on explication of concepts of the semantic form, new sensibility, anaesthetic, aesthetic thinking and world of art, the course provides the students with methodology for a meaningful contextual interpretation of the contemporary pieces of art.
