Course objectives

Historický náčrt paradigmatů ve výtvarné reprezentaci a jejich vliv na interpretační strategie. Nutnost kontextové interpretace uměleckého díla v postmoderní pluralitě interpretačních přístupů. Analýza a komparace jestvujících interpretací známých výtvarných děl z pera významných myslitelů, estetiků a teoretiků výtvarného umění. Moderní ikonografické a ikonologické metody v kunsthistorii a poetice. Formalisticko-estetické, strukturalistické a semiologické interpretace. Psychologické, fenomenologické, sociologické a kulturně-antropologické přístupy i ideologické modely výkladu výtvarného díla. Limity interpretace a nadinterpretace. Střet kunsthistorie s estetikou v interpretaci antického sousoší Láokoón. Alegorická reprezentace středověkých ikon. Perspektiva jako symbolická forma. Velázquezova hra s divákem před obrazem Las Meninas. Manetovy malířské anomálie jako předzvěst modernizmu.
