- Course objectives
- The course is a workshop of practical translation from Latin, where various medieval Latin texts concerning religion are read, translated and commented upon.
Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to:
- translate very well Latin texts addressed by the seminars;
- translate relatively well an unknown Latin text on religion
- look up or guess specific religious background information necessary for translation of Latin texts on religion

- Workshop of practical translation with commentary (grammar, vocabulary, background information).

- Attendance with home preparation (max. two missed classes – prerequisite of the colloquium).
