Course objectives
The course is dealing with (not only) theatrical events of year 1953 and with context of the 50's in general.

The course is held in Czech.
Learning outcomes

At the end of the course student will be able to:
- orient his/herself in political and cultural events in Czechoslovakia in 1953;
- analytically evaluate dramaturgy of regional theatres and of Prague's theatres in given year;
- describe theatre principles of year 1953 and 50's in general;
- understand aesthetics of given time and have insight into theatre events in context of fine arts, architecture, movies and music.
