- Course objectives
- Aim of this course is to present students with selected moments from the development of literary science in 20th and 21st century, with regards to their reflection in Slavic area and traditions of Slavonic Studies in Brno.
- Learning outcomes
- Absolvent of this course will be able to discuss on selected conceptions and methods of literary science, set them into context of world literature development and deepen the gained knowledge by study of specialized literature. Student will be able to apply gained knowledge on literary works and understand the role of literary methods, schools and theories in context of Slavic and world literature.
- Syllabus
- This course is based on study of selected texts (shorter studies, essays or parts of longer works) of selected literary scientists of 20th and 21st century and discussion about them. List of study text can be adjusted as per students´ needs and preferences:

- Assessment methods
- Student must fulfill requirements for attendance (maximum of 3 absences) and active participation in the seminar. After fulfilling these requirements student can pass a final test.
