- Course objectives
- The goal of the lesson is to introduce students to the basics of Coptic language of Sahidic dialect. Students will get acquainted with the last 4 lessons of the textbook by Layton and they will read the selected Coptic texts.
- Learning outcomes
- Students will gain knowledge and complete awareness of the grammar of the Sahidic dialect of the Coptic language and they will be able to read simple Coptic texts.
- Syllabus
- 1. The last 4 lessons of the textbook by Layton. 2. Reading of the selected Coptic texts from the Coptic version of the Bible and the passages of the Gospel of Thomas.
