- At the end of the course students should be able to:
understand and explain the principles of museum exhibitions
analyse museum exhitions
Prepare new museum exhibition
interpret museum exhibitions - Syllabus
- Theory of museum presentation in system of museology. Subject of theory of museum presentation. Ostension. Scheme of communication.
- Museum presentation as the aim of museum work, Interpretation, temporary exhibition, permanent exhibition and various type of exhibition.
- Preparation of museum presentation, cooperation with designer, theme of exhibition, libretto of exhibition, scenario of exhibition.
- Mode of presentation. Static and dynamic
- Mode of presentation - graphics od exhibition, Phtotography and exhibition, texts in exhibition, text and picture.
- Mode of presentation - models, panorama, showcases.
- Mode of presentation - hand-on exhibitions, guided tours oh exhibitions, lectures, computers on exhibitions
