- Course objectives
- During this course, the students will meet both Basque customs and traditions as well as the current situation liguistically and culturally.
- Learning outcomes
- - Get to know the origins of Basque language and Basque people. -Get to know some historical characters that studied and did great research on Basque language. -Learn about the origins of Basque nationalism and its development to the present day. - Analyze the current linguistic reality (Basque language in touch with Spanish), language models in Basque Country and Basque Education System. - Get to know most significant Basque historical and cultural aspects

Humbolt, Bonaparte, Van Eys 5. Baserria 6. Sociability. Cuadrilla,jaiak, sagardotegis. 7. Basque language and culture-related Czech figures.Tauer, Slaby. 8. The origins of Ikastola. Basque in Education. 9. Basque Nationalism 10. Basque music. Folklore, Ez dok Amairu, songbooks, Basque Radical Rock.
