Learning outcomes
Through a combination of contextual lectures and seminar teaching, the student will gain an original awareness of the transformations of Czech cinema, analytically based explanations of the history of Czech film as an art form, and above all the possibilities of poetic research into the aesthetic history of Czech cinema.
Teaching methods
Lectures, film screenings, analysis of specific films and parts of films, discussion of methodological texts.
