Course objectives
This course is focused on the basic principles of law in the Czech Republic and the content of the relevant regulations and applying the basic provisions to museum practice.
Learning outcomes
- explain the basic principles of law in the Czech Republic,
- orientate in the content of the relevant regulations,
- apply the basic provisions to museum practice

  • Introduction, basic terms, literature.
  • History of law, resources, functions of law.
  • System of law, rule, law in practice.
  • Inception and formation of law.
  • Tapes of law.
  • Protection of cultural and natural heritage - basic rules.
  • International law.
