- Course objectives
- Aim of this course is to provide geographical, political, social and economic characteristic of Croatia as an interesting country in the crossroad of Europe, Mediterranean and Balkans.
- Learning outcomes
- On successful completion of the course student will acquire necessary knowledge and arguing skill on the the life and institutions of the country, its cultural specifics as well as its political and social development since the breakup of Yugoslavia to the present day.

- 1. Historical, political and social development of Croatia from the breakup of Yugoslavia till present day;

- Assessment methods
- Prerequisites for granting the credit: regular attendance and thorough home preparation on weekly basis inlcuding reading the assigned literature; active participation in class discussion. Course will be finalized in form of oral examination about the discessed topics and literature.
