- Course objectives
- The course is designed as a problem-based introduction to the concepts, methods, and strategies used in particular areas of literary critical investigation. As such, the course introduces modern (English) literary critical terminology to the students and also provides them with the means needed for an adequate grasp of the subject of their study and for their PhD theses.
- Learning outcomes
- After having finished the course the students will be able to:
- understand modern trends of literary critical investigation;
- use modern literary critical terminology in English;
- use particular methods and means of literary criticism for their study;
- apply these means and methods to their own scholarly research and aslo to writing their PhD theses. - Syllabus
