Course objectives
The course extends the knowledge and skills of students in fields related to computational linguistics. The workshop is always held in September and it is organized by PLIN teachers, other academic institutions or commercial partners.
Learning outcomes
Students who will finish this course will be able to understand and solve problems in the given field.

Workshop on language models (LLMs) and working with them

- a full-day workshop divided into two sessions

- Block 1 (more theoretical):

-- what LLMs are, what they can do, what they can't do

-- what LLMs are

-- what can be done with them

- block 2 (more practical):

-- what is prompt engineering

-- how to build a good prompt, good practices

-- prompting game

-- tasks / solving your own tasks

- preparation from students before WS:

-- go through the syllabus and think about what they expect from WS

-- think about what tasks they could practically use the LLM for in their lives

-- some small tasks (like watching a video) may still occur
