- Cílem výuky je prohloubit a rozvinout základní dovednosti nezbytné ke studiu odborné literatury potřebné k vypracování bakalářské práce.

- Obecné cíle: 1) rozvinout dovednost mluvení tak, aby studenti byli schopni komunikovat v běžných životních situacích 2) rozvinout dovednost čtení tak, aby se studenti dovedli pracovat s autentickým odborným textem 3) rozvinout poslechové dovednosti, tak, aby studenti rozuměli slyšenému z oblasti každodenního života 4) rozvinout dovednost psaní, aby studenti dokázali sestavit dopis, žádost, životopis 5) prohloubit znalost gramatiky se zaměřením na jevy odborného stylu

- Výuka je v každém semestru zakončena zápočtem - podmínkou udělení zápočtu je úspěšné vykonání zápočtového testu a 85% přítomnost ve výuce.
