Course objectives
Personal computers, hardware. PC interface and communication with external devices. Parallel and serial transmission. Professional products for data acquisition, measurement and control. Principles and applications. Microcomputers. Examples of PC-controlled experiments in the laboratories of Department of Solid State Physics.
