- Course objectives
- The course is focused on basics in laboratory diagnostics in a sense of relation between bioanalysis and illness diagnosis; through method selection, analyte determination to results presentation. Course also introduces common instrumental techniques and basic methodical approaches.

- 2. instrumentation - analysators; organisation, integration and miniaturisation of analyses
- 3. quality in clinical analysis - check and control
- 4. analytical methods - selection and optimisation
- 5. analytical sets; analytical result - its presentation; selected instrumental methods
- 6. colourness - physical phenomenon and its utilisation in bioanalysis; medical microbiology
- 7. clinical immunoanalysis
- 8. clinical aspects of protein analysis
- 9. clinical aspects of DNA analysis
- 10. case study - development of a method for clinical diagnostics; role of buffers in bioanalysis
