After completing this course the students will be able to:;
understand specialized authentic science texts/lectures;
identify the main ideas;
formulate the main ideas;
interpret and clarify the information of the texts/lectures;
present various science topics using basic presentation techniques;
summarize a specialized science text;
compare and contrast;
use arguments in a discussion on a specialized topic (defend their opinions, oppose, support arguments of a colleague);
communicate specialized scientific issues using adequate language;
use advanced presentation techniques;
