Course objectives
The course is designed for students specializing in paleontology or intending to graduate in paleontology. The students will acquire the practical knowledge of the special paleontological field research methods.

  • Field paleontological practice in the surroundings of Brno. Special field methods of paleontological, paleoecological and taphonomic documentation.

Teaching methods
Visit and study of some paleontological localities. Field works at selected localities - documentation, collecting of samples, special methods of study (taphonomical, paleoecological)

For succesful ending of the course it is necessary to present the field diary.
