- Course objectives
- Main objective is to be familier with up to date problems of selected types of mineral origin.
- Learning outcomes
- Understanding mineral formation processes: Ability to analyze and explain the conditions and mechanisms of mineral formation. Application of modern research methods: Gaining practical skills in using analytical techniques for studying minerals. Critical analysis of literature: Ability to evaluate and discuss current scientific articles on mineral formation. Presentation of scientific findings: Effective communication of research results, both orally and in writing. Research preparation: Development of skills for independent scientific work in mineralogy.
- Syllabus
- This course id focused on the latest information about origin of minerals, e.g.,dissolution-reprecipitation processes, transition from magmatic to hydrothermal stage.
