Course objectives
The aim of the course is obtaining of theoretical and practical experiences in area of molecular genetic diagnostics. Students will be detailed to methods associated with detection of small-scale mutations (PCR, DNA sequence analysis, fragmentation analysis) and methods for detection of large-scale mutations (multiple ligation dependent probe amplification, MLPA). In the course, students also obtain experiences with using of computer programs for evaluation DNA sequence analysis (Mutation surveyour) and MLPA (Coffalyser).
