- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is obtaining of theoretical and practical experiences in area of molecular genetic diagnostics. Students will be detailed to methods associated with detection of small-scale mutations (PCR, DNA sequence analysis, fragmentation analysis) and methods for detection of large-scale mutations (multiple ligation dependent probe amplification, MLPA). In the course, students also obtain experiences with using of computer programs for evaluation DNA sequence analysis (Mutation surveyour) and MLPA (Coffalyser).
