Course objectives
The main objective of this course is to introduce to students the variability of human ethnics. At the end of this course the students should be able to: describe the main characteristics of the principal ethnics of the world; interpret their geographical distribution; describe their cultural traditions and customs; compare their religions; interpret their physical appearance and physiological adaptations, language etc.

Teaching methods
Theoretical preparation in form of lectures.
Assessment methods
The course is concluded with an oral exam. In the discussion the lector evaluates the level of obtained knowledge and the capability of the student to associate information from various areas. To pass the exam successfully the student must prove good knowledge of the issues discussed during lectures and in the required reading.
