- Course objectives
- The aim of the exercise is to introduce students to the practical side of cell culture.
- Learning outcomes
- By the end of the course, students will be able to independently prepare media and cultivate animal, plant and microbial cultures and apply the acquired knowledge to future experimental work.
- Syllabus
- Media preparation and animal tissue culture (suspension, sessile). Media preparation and cultivation of plant cell cultures (callus formation, suspension culture, induction of organogenesis). Media preparation and cultivation of microbial cell cultures (effect of environmental and media parameters on growth).
