Degree programme specification
The bachelor's degree in physiotherapy is the basic, entry-level university education for physiotherapists. It is designed so that upon successful completion you will be able to implement diagnostic, therapeutic and preventive procedures and methods in the rehabilitation process of the patient.
Due to the positioning of the field of physiotherapy in the Faculty of Sports Studies, the study also focuses on all aspects of "healthy sporting", as sport itself is one of the tools of a healthy lifestyle in the primary and secondary prevention of civilisation diseases. You will be able to develop a physiotherapy plan to compensate for the unilateral sports load, which enhances the quality of the training process. Such a sport focus in physiotherapy is unique in our department - in fact, it is not a common part of the curriculum in other faculties.
