  Marcela Janíková graduated from Primary School Teacher Training (specialising in German as a foreign language) at the Faculty of Education, Masaryk University, as well as the School Management specialised study programme at the Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University. She was teaching at the School of Higher Education of Social Work and Law in Brno for several years. Since obtaining her Ph.D. at the Faculty of Education, MU, she has been working at the Department of Sport Pedagogy at the Faculty of Sports Studies, Masaryk University. Regarding her educational activities, she focuses primarily on the subjects of School Pedagogy and School Management. In her research, she concentrates on the issues of classroom interaction and communication as well as topics related to physical education teacher education. In terms of research methodology, she participated in the process of establishing Videostudy as an instrument for research into teaching various subjects at basic school. She took part in Video Interaction Guidance as well as Neuro Linguistic Programming courses. Between 2014–2015 she was a member of the management team for the Physical Activity and Nutrition programme experimental validation.
