Prerequisites
The MU Language Centre is opening a Czech language course for foreign MU staff and Ph.D. students. The course is aimed at foreign Masaryk University employees and Ph.D. students at A2/1 level. The applicants who did not participate in the previous course will take an entrance test. Please complete the entrance test on the website https://www.cjv.muni.cz/zamestnanci-mu/jazykove-kurzy. Your teacher will contact you after the deadline for registration and arrange the oral part of the test. The students who attended course Pre-intermediate 2 in the Spring semester 2022 do not need to take the entrance test. The teacher will contact you by e-mail. Students should be familiar with the following topics: content of the book Čeština expres 1 – Lída Holá, Pavla Bořilová and Čeština expres 2.

Course objectives
Students will get familiar with the following topics: meeting each other, likes and dislikes, restaurants and Czech cuisine, family, relationships, places and travelling, instrumental sg., passive, declension of pronouns and adverbs of location vs. direction.
