- Course objectives
- Students deepen their knowledge of Czech language that they need for their studies and life at the university independently of the subject they are currently studying. A plan and suitable study materials will be selected and created based on the students´ need analysis and on the entrance diagnostics so that the students´ needs are met. Attention will be paid to authentic communicative situations and sociocultural competences. At the end of the course student will write a test so that their progress can be measured and so that further language support may be suggested.
- Learning outcomes
- Student will be able to:
effectively and appropriately communicate in the university environment;
deal more comfortably with authentic specialized texts and tasks related to them;
strengthen his receptive as well as productive linguistic comptences;
various aspects of autonomous learning to improve his or her communicative competences out of the course. - Syllabus
