Course objectives
The course will provide you with advice and specific tips on what to do and where, what not to forget and what to avoid. Each event is unique in its message, number of guests, venue, programme, etc. However, they all go through common phases of preparation, implementation and activities. For each one, you have to think about who you will invite, why and what you want to say, where and when it will take place, who will implement it all and how much it will cost. The course breaks down each point including recommending a form of promotion, inviting participants, staffing the event, appropriate catering and technology. It does not forget the form of feedback and ongoing evaluation of the needs of the event.
