Course objectives
Business Law (OBPR) ID The purpose of the course is to provide a deeper knowledge and understanding of the meaning of basic business law instincts, taking into account their practical application with regard to the specialisation Business Management. The course is a continuation of the course Basics of Law (or Law for Economists). Special attention will be paid to the selected problems of business contractual relations (particularly to the purchase contract, fixed job contract, contract of the sale of company, mandate contract, contract of commission, contract on commercial representation, contract of silent partnership, public tenders), legal system of liability to damages and defects, bankruptcy and composition, and legal problems of illicit restraint of competition. Practical examples and some specimen submissions in commercial law matters will be used in the lessons. Credit requirements: active participation in seminars and a paper. Examination form: oral.
