- Law and Finance (PPPAFI) This subject expands knowledge from the courses Introduction to Law and Law for Economists. It deals with the legal and institutional framework of the main entities and instruments of the Czech Republics financial market. The course concentrates on interpretation of the Czech Republic s current legislation in the economic and economic-political context. Attention is paid to the problems of legal form, scope of business activity, management, state supervision of financial institutions and instruments of the country s financial market. The course aims to provide the essential knowledge for understanding the current legal framework of the financial market, following the on-going intensive amendments of rules of law and the necessity to implement the EU legal norms in the Czech legal system. The basic orientation in the legal framework of the financial market is particularly concentrated on public law. The private law aspects of activity of the entities of the financial market, especially the contractual relationships, are covered by the subsequent course Contractual Relationships in Finance Sector.
