Course objectives
Organisation and Management of a Business Firm (PHOROP) The course aims to introduce students to the problems of the position of trade and business firms in the Czech Republic s market economy and relations to international trade. Students address both decision-making about the form of enterprise and problems of strategic and operational management of a business firm in various areas - buying, sales, personnel management, financial management etc. in retail and wholesale business and services. The seminars provide essential information about the procedure of the individual activities in a business firm. Credit requirements: active participation in seminars, passing a test, seminar essay. Examination: oral.
