Course objectives
Mathematics I (PMMATI) The aim of the subject is to introduce students to the principal mathematical means necessary to solve economic problems and to prepare essential foundations for the subjects Statistics and Economic-Mathematical Methods. In addition to this, the subject contributes to the development of logical thinking. The content of the course Mathematics I are the principles of mathematical logic and the theory of sets, from the area of linear algebra especially matrices, determinants and solving systems of equations of the first degree are contained, as well as differential calculus of functions with a single variable, with emphasis on the characteristic of function. The seminar will also include the use of computers for solving practical tasks. Credit requirements: active participation in seminars, passing of tests in the course of semester and a final test.

Podmínky získání zápočtu: aktivní účast na cvičení (min. 10 účastí za semestr), úspěšné absolvování dvou průběžných testů a závěrečné písemné práce
