- Course objectives
- The course consists of several lectures, each of them analysing a particular segment of the Czech business environment. At the end of this course, students should understand general trends of development of Czech firms in course of transformation the state-planning economy to the market economy in context of political and social changes. The second aim is to provide the students with current view on Czech business environment. The course is specific of its micro-economic and branch-level points of view.

- Teaching methods
- Education proceeds as lectures, that are theoretical preparing of students in the framework of discussed issues (according syllabus) with accent of Czech Republic specificity.
- Assessment methods
- The course takes form of lectures and is concluded by a written test. Any copying, recording or leaking tests, use of unauthorized tools, aids and communication devices, or other disruptions of objectivity of exams (credit tests) will be considered non-compliance with the conditions for course completion as well as a severe violation of the study rules. Consequently, the teacher will finish the exam (credit test) by awarding grade "F" in the Information System, and the Dean will initiate disciplinary proceedings that may result in study termination.
