Course objectives
The goal of this course is to offer the students more detailed knowledge of information technologies which are used in companies and more managerial topics from the information systems discipline. This course also allows students to gain deeper orientation in the discipline and helps them – in case of further interest - to choose appropriate specialized courses offered by the faculty.
Learning outcomes
Main course outcomes
At the end of the course the students will be able:
- to define main terms and concepts from the field of business informatics;
- to describe components of the enterprise information system including the features of the components;
- to explain the purpose and importance of the components of enterprise information systems;
- to apply the gained knowledge by making an analysis of given enterprise information system;
- to design a proposal for enterprise information system optimization;
- to know the latest technological solution for enterprise information systems;
- to orient at current IS/ICT market.
